Pixel 4 Xposed module lets you use face unlock in apps that only support fingerprint authentication
The Pixel 4 is the first Android phone to feature a proper secure face unlock mechanism that can't be easily fooled by pictures or similar looking people. To enable authentication in banking apps or password managers, this technology requires Android 10's new biometrics API. Since it's different from the previous fingerprint API, there are only a handful of applications that already support it. A new Xposed module for the Pixel 4 provides a workaround for unsupported apps that aren't yet compatible with the Pixel 4's face unlock.

Google tests redesigned, reorganized Assistant updates tab
Google's new, less intrusive Assistant is already available on the Pixel 4, but the redesign it received has mostly affected the voice command interface. The updates tab, Google Now's spiritual successor, kept the same look. Now, Google appears to be testing an overhauled dashboard with more gradients and chronological organization.
The new updates tab shrinks down the greeting, appears to remove all superfluous suggested action chips and cards, and focuses on the essentials: weather and things you need to know.

(Update: Back in English) Google takes down AutoVoice Assistant action, but there's a workaround
AutoVoice is a powerful tool developed by the maintainer of Tasker, João Dias. It lets you trigger Tasker and IFTTT recipes with your voice, so you can easily start complicated workflows involving multiple smart home devices with a simple phrase. Unfortunately, there seems to be some misunderstanding between Google and the developer. The AutoVoice Assistant action is currently not available because the company griped with the description of the service.

Samsung Members had a d*** pic on its front page for several hours
The Samsung Members app may not be your go-to destination for R-rated content, but for several hours today, it could've done the job just fine. A member posted his, erm, member for other members to see. Given the intriguing nature of the post, it grew enough in popularity that it popped up on the app's front page for everyone else's enjoyment.
The sad part about this whole junk post situation is that the text below it just doesn't make any sense, even though it had some great fundamentals like "shooting today with my friends" and "even more stupid than me."
In any case, the post has now been removed and the account behind it probably shafted from the app for good.

Poweramp beta gets HTML radio streaming
Poweramp established a loyal fan base over the years by offering an original design and an abundance of customization options. These fans can soon greet another feature setting the app apart from other music players. Poweramp is adding internet radio streaming to its product and calls it Powerstream.
Even though Powerstream sounds pretty fancy, it's nothing but good old HTML radio streaming. The feature is live in the beta version of app, and for now, you'll have to find and enter your own .m3u files – a curated list of radio stations is scheduled for a later release.

Google Assistant receives SiriusXM integration
SirusXM is best known as a broadcast provider for satellite radios in cars, but the company expanded its business to smartphones long ago and recently bought the streaming platform Pandora. Now SiriusXM has teamed up with Google to bring its lineup of radio stations to the Assistant across all of Google's devices. This should drastically expand the number of radio stations available on the company's smart home speakers.
Since SiriusXM receives a native integration with the Assistant, you can simply tell the latter to play whichever radio station you'd like to listen to.

Sony shuttering PlayStation Vue in early 2020, leaving us with one less streaming option
After chugging along for four years, Sony is calling it quits and ending its Playstation Vue subscription service. The company cites the slow-changing and competitive Pay TV industry as its primary reason for the pullout, and it plans to focus on its core gaming business going forward. Subscribers will have access to the service until January 30, 2020.
The Playstation Vue is a streaming service that provides live TV, movies, news, and sports without a cable or satellite subscription.

Xbox Console Streaming lets you play any Xbox One game on your Android device
If you're an Xbox Insider in the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings in the US and UK, you can now start testing out Microsoft's Xbox Console Streaming service, which streams any Xbox One game to an Android device. The prerequisites for the service are a bit restrictive, but going through the steps will let you put in some Gear 5 gameplay during your work or school commute.
The Xbox Console Streaming service shouldn't be confused with Microsoft's other two streaming initiatives: the xCloud streaming service that runs off cloud computing and is similar to Google's Stadia, and the Xbox Console Companion app for Windows 10 devices that enables streaming of Xbox games to a Windows 10 PC.
